Niye Sezar Tiran Oldu?

Zavallı adam! O aslında kurt olamazdı

Ama baktı ki Romalılar koyun;

Aslan kesilmezdi
Ama baktı ki kadar avlanacak geyik çok.

El çabukluğuyla yangın çıkarmak isteyen için
ortada sap saman çok.

Düşünsene Roma  ne büyük bir çöplük!

Yakacak çok sey var; ortalığı aydınlatmak kolay

Sezar asağılık biri ama ne yapalım?

Nereye geldi mevzu?

Ben bu konuyu bir köleye anlatsam,

Ne cevap verecegi belli

Ama ben silahlı biriyim;

Bana tehdit sökmez...
